3 Days Tarangire, Ngorongoro & Lake Manyara Safari

Your safari begins with an early morning departure from Arusha, heading southwest towards Tarangire National Park. The drive takes approximately two hours, passing through the expansive Maasai steppe. After completing entry formalities, your guide will lead you into the heart of Tarangire, renowned for its large elephant populations and iconic baobab trees. After a picnic lunch under a baobab tree, you will embark on an afternoon game drive. As the day draws to a close, you will exit the park and transfer to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast, you will depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive takes you through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands. Upon reaching the crater rim, you will descend 600 meters to the crater floor for a full-day game drive. The crater is home to approximately 25,000 large animals including black rhinos, lions, elephants, and hippos. After a picnic lunch near the hippo pool, continue your game drive before ascending the crater walls in the late afternoon.

After breakfast, you will depart for Lake Manyara National Park, located at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. The park is renowned for its tree-climbing lions and diverse ecosystems. After a picnic lunch in the park, you will embark on an afternoon game drive before exiting and returning to Arusha in the early evening.
