3-Days Tanzania Safari, Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara
This 3-day lodge safari offers you the chance to see a wide variety of wildlife amongst some of the most diversified landscapes. Not only will you visit the Tarangire and Lake Manyara National Park but also the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will see huge herds of elephants, in-season flocks of flamingos, and troops of baboons.
If you are short on time, this is a great option to see the amazing Serengeti. Fly to the Serengeti and enjoy 3 days in the Serengeti area. At the Serengeti Simba Lodge, enjoy a full-day game drive and 1-night game drive (June-December weather permitting) in the Ikoma area.
The Serengeti Halisi Mobile Camp is an authentic safari camp experience. Enjoy game drives in the south-central Serengeti area (Ndutu) from December to March to see the wildebeest migration, while from June through October the camp will be situated in the center of the Serengeti where the game viewing is better during that time.
All our safaris are offered as a private trip, starting on any day.
Day 1: Drive to Lake Manyara, afternoon game drive
Drive 3-4 hours from Lake Manyara, lunch en-route, afternoon game drive in Lake Manyara.
Lake Manyara is a highly scenic park, rimmed on one side by the tall cliffs of the Rift escarpment, and ringed with a variety of habitats including the namesake for the park, Lake Manyara. Games we see in Manyara include hippos, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, impala, dwarf mongooses, hyraxes, hippos, wildebeest, zebra, and on rare occasions, tree-climbing lions and leopards.
